Gini’s Dorset Buttons
Come see Gini’s Dorset Buttons demonstrating the traditional 400-year old craft of making buttons. See how they were originally made and how they have been updated into modern versions to be used in jewellery and decorations.
Helen McKenna
Helen will be demonstrating how to make little stitched books using vintage linens. A lovely way to keep scraps of precious fabrics – any small items, which hold special memories, such as buttons, can be stitched into the pages. Helen will be running Make & Take stitching sessions on her stand throughout the event.
Jen Hogg – Jenerates
Jen will demonstrate her unique Jenerates tools and notions for sewing, knitting and crochet, as well as some of her popular and timesaving HoggHacks and generally answer your sewing questions. She’ll also be sewing something special throughout the show!
Julie Bowden – Kiln Time
With 28 years of glassmaking experience, Julie has created ‘Kiln Time’ as an accessible way to explore glass fusing without the trials of learning to cut glass. Come and meet Julie and learn all about how to craft your own unique glassware in her fun and relaxing hands-on workshops.

The Lace Guild
The Lace Guild is the largest lace organisation in the United Kingdom and is an accredited museum with a large collection of lace and associated artefacts. The Guild produces two quarterly magazines: Lace and Early Days in Lacemaking and publishes books of lace techniques and patterns.
The guild also runs courses and workshops throughout the UK and has a comprehensive library.
