Sarah Payne
Sarah Payne is an award winning author, fabric designer and TV demonstrator. She represents large brands including Brother, Vlieseline and Oliso Irons. Sarah teaches on-line, designs her own kits and patterns as well as offering subscriptions online.
Jennie Rayment
Internationally acclaimed tutor, author, lecturer and TV demonstrator. Mainly working in fabric manipulation and surface texture but also covers a wide range of quilting topics. Jennie is renown for her informative and amusing approach to her subject!
Jo Avery
With an eclectic style that mixes both traditional and modern aesthetics along with her renowned use of colour, Jo Avery shares recent quilts and projects that mix freehand organic applique, improv piecing and embroidery embellishment.
Pat Archibald

Kerrie Padmore – Living in Loveliness
Kerrie has been teaching sewing workshops – everything from mini zippers to patchwork and quilting – for more than 10 years. She has taken her love of teaching and passion for selecting beautiful fabrics and accessories along with her experience and knowledge from teaching classes to write and launch her own fabulous patterns. Kerrie’s passion lies in bringing people together in workshops through their shared joy of sewing and she looks forward to welcoming you to her wonderful world of ‘Living in Loveliness’ at the shows.

Sheena was a Primary School Teacher for 30 years before becoming a freelance quilting-teacher, teaching at venues all over the UK and abroad. She has won many awards for her work and enjoys developing and sharing her skills.

Tin for Ten – QGBI Modern Special Interest Group
In 2024 the Modern Special Interest Group of the British Isles celebrated their 10th Anniversary. All members were asked to make a 10in square quilt using some of the provided fabric including a metallic one to represent tin.
Glasgow Modern Quilt Guild
A friendly group of twenty members with varied quilting and sewing abilities, meeting in Elderslie Kirk Hall on the third Saturday of the month from 10am –4pm. They do not teach quilting, but learn from each other, with members leading mini-workshops/demos to share skills. If you are interested in finding out more, follow up via their Instagram.
Boutis Ecosse
Boutis (boo-tee) is an historical hand-stitched whitework originating from the Languedoc region in France. Led by Patricia Macindoe, the association meets monthly in Helensburgh, Argyll & Bute and is the only group of its kind in the UK.
Connected By Thread
Connected by Thread is an art quilt group based in west Cumbria. Each year the group makes a piece of work inspired by a set title. The title for 2022/23 was “What A Wonderful World – or is it?” This was broadly interpreted in three ways:
1) What a wonderful world
2) The song
3) Focusing on the “or is it” part of the title
Each piece is 24” wide x 40” long.

Highland Quilters
