The Red Dress
Prepare to be captivated as the world-famous Red Dress arrives at the NEC!
This incredible global collaborative embroidery project, initiated by British artist Kirstie Macleod, has become a platform for self-expression and an opportunity for voices to be amplified.
Stitched by 380 embroiderers from 51 countries, including female refugees, survivors of war, impoverished women and asylum seekers, it unites people from all walks of life, without prejudice.
All participants were paid for their work and still receive royalties each time it is exhibited, helping to improve their lives.
